Last week we spent some time getting to know Bon Ton. We were there in the morning to watch the pastry chefs create incredible works of art and then we stayed late into the night to photograph the bread bakers work their magic.

There is nothing at Bon Ton that doesn‘t look like it is a masterpiece and this is for good reason. We watched as these pastry chefs tuned in to each painstaking details of their work. From the placement of each hazelnut on their eclairs to the glaze on their flans, these professionals are at the top of their game. And you can trust us when we say that it tastes as good as it looks! Whether it‘s their macarons, cookies, specialty cakes or tarts, these treats are, in our opinion, the best baked goods in town.
When we returned at the end of the day to capture the bread bakers in their element, the whole bakery had a different vibe. These guys were in the zone and seemed to have hands of steel. We learned about long fermentation breads, met employees that have been part of the Bon Ton team for over 20 years, watched a ballet of hands & flour and tried some bread straight from the oven. There is nothing better than bread straight from the oven and the beauty of these loaves was unparalleled.
